Ad hoc committees are formed to organize events. They may have members from the Dayton Lions, the Dayton Community Foundation, and other individuals serving. Anyone can be involved without formal membership.

The Dayton Community Foundation Inc. is its’ own 501c3 non-profit corporation. It is the legal entity that handles charitable contributions. It is new, first operating in 2019, and currently only open to members of the Dayton Lions.

Membership in the Dayton Lions involves joining International Lions. Members pay dues, meet monthly, and have a great time with everything we do. This year with Covid-19 restrictions the club has been meeting virtually. The club is open to adult men and women of all ages. Dayton Lions also sponsor the Champlin Park High School Leos club. Both Lions and Leos are public service organizations.
