Dayton Community Foundation Inc.

The Dayton Community Foundation (DCF) is a 501c3 non-profit. We are volunteers that work closely with the Dayton Lions. We do fundraising for events such as Dayton Heritage Day, services that benefit families, and youth scholarships. Our goal is to bring people together to share energy and effort and improve life for everyone in our community.

We have a great deal to be thankful for as last year’s Heritage Day had great weather and was a huge success. The new Friday night event brought families and friends together for fun, crafts, food, music, a movie, and fireworks. Saturday’s parade and event brought even more smiles. There were plenty of smiles going around that we all need, but it is hard to match the excitement seen on the faces of kids – it is so contagious! Our mission is to bring people together and build community. By all accounts we succeeded because of your help.

We are working on even better events for 2022. Watch our Events Calendar for updates as details evolve.
